VLC - multimedia player and multimedia data translator
media player of the VideoLAN project. It allows you to play MPEG, MPEG2, MPEG4, DivX, MOV, WMV, QuickTime, mp3, Ogg/Vorbis files, DVD, VideoCD and multimedia streams from various network sources.
VLC can also be used as a broadcast server to transmit the stream it reads to the network using a broadcast mechanism or via the HTTP protocol.
