Ubuntu EducationPack 16.04 Update (2020.10)
Updated and available for free download Ubuntu EducationPack 16.04.
The distribution kit out of the box provides a fully customized solution for an educational institution of any category (junior, middle and senior schools, lyceums, colleges, as well as higher educational institutions such as institutes, universities and others).
The installation disk already contains more than 150 preinstalled programs for education, science, programming and organization of the educational process.
The interface is based on GNOME Flashback.
The distribution includes an LTSP server, which will allow old computers (even those that were released ten or more years ago) to be used as thin LTSP clients (diskless workstations) that are loaded from the network without any direct installation on the old one a computer.

The installation discs are prepared for 32 bit (x32, x86, i386) and 64 bit (x64, amd64, x86-64) platforms.
The sizes are 4.1 GB and 4.4 GB, respectively.

An operating system based on GNU / Linux, like others itself, requires more and more resources with each new version.
That is why, in order not to leave aside those users and educational institutions who during this time were unable to increase the capacity of their computer park, we first updated and updated the existing EducationPack, which is based on the Ubuntu*Pack 16.04 version, and accordingly consumes less resources.
But we are moving forward, and work has begun on the creation of Ubuntu EducationPack 18.04.
