Connecting additional antivirus databases will improve threat detection efficiency and add 3.7 million additional signatures for viruses, Trojans, phishing links, and malware not included in the basic version to ClamAV's standard capabilities.
Additional databases accumulate information from several cybersecurity projects at once: Linux Malware Detect, Sanesecurity, URLhaus, SecuriteInfo, interServer, ditekshen and twinclams.
They are compatible with ClamAV for Linux and Windows, ClamShield, ClamXav for macOS, and can also be used in conjunction with Proxmox Mail Gateway and Zimbra.
