Extended antivirus databases for ClamAV

ClamAV is an excellent antivirus. But the effectiveness of any antivirus depends directly on the quality of the signatures it receives.

To improve detection rates, we offer access to additional antivirus databases for ClamAV from the following projects: interServer, Linux Malware Detect, Sanesecurity, URLhaus, SecuriteInfo, ditekshen, twinclams.

They will expand the existing ClamAV antivirus databases with an additional 3.7 million virus / Trojan /malware signatures not found in standard antivirus databases.

Access to extended updates is provided for 1 year.

Connecting additional antivirus databases takes no more than 5 minutes: you simply add an additional update source to your existing freshclam.conf configuration file.

Additional antivirus databases are updated daily.

Additional antivirus databases are compatible with ClamAV Linux, ClamAV Windows, ClamShield, ClamXav on macOS, and Proxmox Mail Gateway.

By connecting these extended databases to the Proxmox Mail Gateway, you provide even greater protection for your mailboxes from malware penetration through received email messages.
